To Mars and Beyond: Explore Where God’s Power Can Take You
Don’t worry, there is still time to register for VBS this summer! This year we will be taking a virtual trip to Mars during the week for July 20th-24th!
Technology needed:
Participants will need access to the internet and a screen, whether that is a tablet, laptop, or a desktop computer with a camera. Participants will be accessing video posted daily to our website, and if you opt for your child to join a space team; they will be utilizing zoom for daily space team meetings.
Supplies needed:
Each participant will need a technological device, and access to the internet. They will also receive a supply pack with supplies needed to complete 13 different activities. Some basic supplies (example: pencil, scissors) will be needed from home, and a list will be provided prior to take-off. If assistance with these basic supplies is needed, please let us know.
Supply Packs:
These may be picked up on Friday July 17th from 5-6pm, and Saturday July 18th from 10-11am. When registering you will be asked to select a pick-up day. You will pull into the parking lot, and a pack will be brought to you. No need to get out of the car.
How Much Guardian Involvement:
Families will be sharing the same screen for our virtual VBS, and all participants of all ages will be completing the same activities. Some activities may require more assistance than other based on age; all activities can be completed at your own pace, as we understand parents may be working and unable to assist at specific times.
How Do Space Teams Work:
Space teams are optional. If you opt to participate in one, your child will join their team each evening, and participate in a small group lesson through Zoom. Each team will be made up of participants from a single home, rather than each child in your house on a different team.
